Led a team of 50+ students to create a ~45-minute AAA quality demo for AGP, USC’s capstone project class
Lead Producer
The Veiled Ones is a first-person horror game about a Muslim scholar trying to save his son from invisible spirits known as jinn. In order to save your son, players must explore the environment, avoid the jinn, and find hidden clues using the looking glass, revealing a hidden world to the human eye. The game deals with themes of guilt, cultural horror, and acceptance.
The Veiled Ones is a capstone project for my Advanced Games Program class that I was the lead producer of. During the academic year, our team aimed to build a polished 45-minute experience. Our game intends to deal with themes of guilt, cultural horror, and acceptance. During the course of the game, the players will feel like a scholar from Istanbul as they explore a jinn-infested house to find clues, getting a glimpse into Islamic mythology.
